Beach Dart uses customer information to make beach delivery work. We provide an order's customer details only to the vendor fulfilling that order and its assigned delivery personnel. Vendors do not receive customer information for orders from other vendors. We do not sell customer information. This policy explains the information involved, including processing by companies that provide the app's payment, hosting, map, and communications infrastructure.

1. Who we are and scope

Beach Dart is operated by Beach Dart LLC, doing business as Beach Dart ("Beach Dart," "we," "us"). This policy applies to customers who use our mobile app, website, and support channels, and to business partners and affiliates who submit signups through our website. Contact us at support@beachdart.com or 910 Dixon Blvd, Cocoa, FL 32922.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the following categories of customer information. Account and contact information: name, email address, phone number, login credentials or account identifiers, and communications preferences. Order information: products, vendor, prices, payments, delivery instructions, order status, tips, refunds, and support history. Delivery location: the beach, a map pin or location you provide, and precise device location if you grant the app permission. Communications: messages with vendors or delivery personnel and messages to support, plus call or relay metadata if that feature is used. Device and usage information: IP address, app and device identifiers, operating system, diagnostics, log events, and basic usage data needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. Payment information: our payment provider processes payment credentials; Beach Dart receives transaction identifiers, payment status, and limited payment details such as card brand and last four digits, if made available.

For partner and affiliate signups, we collect the business or affiliate name, partner type, contact name, email address, and any optional phone number, website, city, state, or description of planned promotion activities supplied. We record the assigned commission plan, application status, staff review, referral codes, and commission accounting records. We use a session cookie and a human check to protect the signup form.

Approved partners can use a separate dashboard account. We store a hashed password, hashed expiring password-setup/reset tokens, email delivery status, and sign-in attempt records (email, IP address, and time) to protect access. We use a separate session cookie for the partner dashboard. We store Stripe connected-account identifiers, payout readiness, and commission transfer references; Stripe collects bank details directly.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; show available vendors and products; process payments and refunds; route orders; locate customers and delivery personnel during an order; support in-app messages or calls; send order and service notifications; address disputes, fraud, and safety issues; improve app performance; and comply with legal, tax, and recordkeeping duties. We use contact details for marketing only as permitted by your choices and applicable law. We do not use precise delivery location to build advertising profiles.

We use partner signup information to review applications, contact applicants, administer referral relationships and commission plans, and maintain financial records. Authorized staff can review applications. Contact support to request a correction or deletion of signup details; records needed for accounting or legal obligations may need to be retained.

We send partner approval and password-setup/reset emails through our email provider. Partners who connect Stripe are directed to Stripe to supply identity and payout information under Stripe's applicable terms and privacy policy. We share the partner contact email and an internal account identifier with Stripe when creating a connected account. Admins release approved commissions to that account; Stripe handles bank payouts.

4. What the fulfilling vendor receives

For an order, the vendor supplying the products and its authorized personnel may receive the customer name or order identifier, purchased items, delivery beach and location pin, delivery instructions, order status, and the information needed to contact the customer during fulfillment. We limit vendor access to its own orders. Vendor personnel should use this information only to fulfill the order, resolve a related issue, and meet applicable recordkeeping duties. If an order involves more than one vendor, each vendor receives only the information needed for its portion.

5. Other processing and disclosures

Companies that operate services for Beach Dart may process information on our behalf, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, maps, notifications, customer support, fraud prevention, and communications routing. We require them to use information for the services they provide to us under appropriate agreements. This operational processing is separate from giving a vendor customer data for fulfillment. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the service, or in connection with a corporate transaction, subject to applicable law. We do not provide customer lists or delivery histories to other vendors, hotels, or referral partners.

6. Location and live delivery tracking

Location permission is optional at the device level, but a delivery location is necessary to complete an order. You can enter or adjust a map pin when available. If you allow precise location, we use it to help identify your beach location and coordinate handoff. During an active delivery, the assigned vendor and delivery personnel may see the delivery location. If the app displays the delivery person's location to the customer, that location is used to show order progress. We do not share a customer's live location with vendors outside the orders they fulfill. You can change location permission in device settings.

7. Messages and notifications

We use order messages, push notifications, email, and, if enabled, calls or text messages to coordinate orders and respond to support requests. Order communications may be retained with the order record for troubleshooting and dispute resolution. Promotional messages are governed by separate consent and opt-out mechanisms when required. Push notifications can be turned off in device settings, although that may make order coordination harder.

8. Payments and promotional attribution

A payment processor handles card and wallet credentials under its own privacy terms. We use transaction details to record purchases, issue refunds, detect fraud, and reconcile vendor payments. If you use a promo code or hotel referral link, we may record that code or source to apply the offer and measure the referral. If you sign up or order without a referral being applied, we may compare a salted one-way hash of your network address with recent referral-link visits so staff can review whether a referral was missed; we do not store the address itself, and we delete these hashes after 90 days. Referral partners receive anonymized performance totals and their own commission accounting statements, including commission amounts, dates, status, and payout references. We do not give them a customer's name, contact details, precise location, order identifiers, or itemized order history.

9. Retention and security

We keep account information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we irreversibly deidentify your profile (name, email, phone, login credentials, saved locations, precise location history, and messages) rather than keeping a readable copy, and we display historical orders under a non-identifying label such as "Deleted customer." We separately retain a limited set of transaction records — order totals, fees, tax, and payment identifiers — only where needed for tax reporting, payment reconciliation, refunds, chargeback or fraud investigation, or another legal obligation. We retain transaction and tax records for at least the period required by applicable law, generally three years for Florida sales tax records, and longer when an audit, dispute, or other legal hold requires it. Retained transaction records are never used for marketing and are not used to restore a deleted profile. We retain precise delivery location and order communications only while needed to fulfill the order and resolve related support, safety, or payment issues; both are deleted or redacted as part of account deletion once no open order remains. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards; no system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and requests

You can review and update certain account information in the app and change device location and notification permissions in device settings. You can permanently delete your customer account and personal data from the app's Profile screen, or without the app at https://beachdart.com/accountDeletion. If you have an order in progress, we record your deletion request immediately, block new orders, and complete deletion once that order is delivered, canceled, or refunded. Deleting a customer account does not delete a separate vendor/business account you may also hold; vendor account deletion must be requested separately. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting support@beachdart.com, subject to identity verification and exceptions such as transaction records we must retain. You may opt out of marketing using the unsubscribe method in the message or by contacting us. Where applicable law provides additional privacy rights, we will honor them.

11. Children

Beach Dart is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact support@beachdart.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our practices change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. For privacy questions or requests, contact Beach Dart LLC, 910 Dixon Blvd, Cocoa, FL 32922, support@beachdart.com.
